Baird’s Creek Presbyterian Church has activities throughout the year.  Everyone is welcome to attend!

Some of our activities:

Devotions and walk in Valle Crucis Community Park Wednesdays at noon

Frequent picnics at church and in the park, weather permitting

Special worship services: Ash Wednesday, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas

Book Club – discussions, movies, crafts, and meals

Wednesday at NOON

 Valle Crucis Community Park in the first pavilion.

Weather permitting.

We plan to meet each Wednesday at noon at Valle Crucis Community Park in the first pavilion for a brief devotion and then all who are so inclined will walk around the footpathIcon1Lent03Projection

*Vintage Valle Music program is in hiatus.  Uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 makes it too difficult to plan how to hold these events safely.  With deep regret, I spoke with representatives of each of the groups who were planning to participate this summer, and each shares our concerns for the welfare of all involved.  On a positive note, all of them hope that we will all be able to get together again soon.
 
 
 
     Most of the artists with whom I spoke have already been or expect to be receiving cancellations for other events scheduled for this summer.  While none of them depend on those venues for their primary livelihood, that extra “pocket money” will be missed, and more importantly, the opportunities for creative outlets will be sorely missed.  Some of the musicians are putting expressions of their talents on video.  When I run across them, I share them on Facebook.  I urge you to watch for these little gems and share them with your friends, thereby keeping alive the gift of music with which we are so greatly blessed here in the High Country.
